 At this time, we can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 150. The Hemlock Package allows up to 100 guests, with an additional fee of $20 per person over the 100 up to 150 guests total.

There sure is! Just 10 minutes away, you’ll find the stunning Cliffview Resort. They have beautiful guest rooms at the Lodge, as well as Luxury Mega Cabins that can accommodate your whole party. If you’re into “glamping,” Red River Gorge Cabin Rentals offers smaller private cabins and yurts for groups of all sizes. The convenient Red River Gorge Inn and the modern Chocolat Inn provide more traditional hotel accommodations.

You must either use our recommended vendors, or vendors who are approved by us. ALL VENDORS MUST BE INSURED.

No. Due to the type of liquor license we hold, outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. There will be a fine of $25 for each container of outside alcohol that is found and deducted from the damage deposit. We are able and happy to provide beverage service with everything chilled to the proper temperature saving you the work of hauling tons of liquor, coolers, ice and keep your event classy and guests safe at the same time.

We book weddings and events daily, and while we encourage responsible drinking and making arrangements for transportation, we cannot be responsible for vehicles left past the end of the rental period.

Hiring a professional day of coordinator is a requirement and is one of the best investments you’ll make for your wedding day. We genuinely want you and your guests to enjoy the experience and that’s hard to do if you’re busy all day. Take it from us; coordinating and prepping for your wedding day is hard work! 

You don’t have to hire us for this service, and we are happy to give you a list of our FAVORITE coordinators  (aka lifesavers)

No. Dressing rooms are provided before the ceremony only. Once the ceremony begins, access to the dressing rooms ends. Personal items can be stored in the Props Room or taken to cars before the ceremony starts.

Yes! Day of event insurance is a requirement of our insurance company. Most of our couples purchase a policy from www.wedsafe.com or www.eventhelper.com Their rates are very reasonable and we’ve see policies starting at around $100 or so.

The state of KY does charge sales tax on rental fees and services.

We know postponing a wedding is not an easy decision. If you find yourself in this situation, we ask that you let us know ASAP so that we can work together to find you a new wedding date.

In order to reserve your date, we require an initial payment of 25% of your package. After that, monthly payments are required up until 60 days before your wedding.  We do not charge interest and you’ll have the convenience of knowing exactly when and what is due.

There are 3 easy steps to reserve your date.

  1. Complete your quote by making the selections you want for your package.
  2. Fill out and electronically sign your contract.
  3. Submit your first payment.

We do host weddings and events daily, so to respect others’ privacy, we do ask that you schedule a tour. You can begin HERE

We do not require a minimum for either guests or bar service BUT all guests over the age of 21 MUST be included in your bar count.

Budgets vary wildly from couple to couple. We have found some really great ways to save money and we are happy to share those with you to help find a package that fits your budget.

We have found a few consistencies though for TOTAL amount spent for various weddings we have hosted. For example, the average elopement at our venue has a total budget of up to $6,000.

The average Hemlock package wedding has a TOTAL budget of between $30,000 to $45,000 which includes their spending on us (the venue), bar, catering, photography, flowers, dress, DJ, etc.

Yes! Any vendor that you hire to perform a service at Hemlock Springs, must carry their own insurance that lists Hemlock Springs as additional insured. 

Most reputable businesses will know what this is and will have no trouble sending us their certificate. 

Children two (2) years old and under do not count towards your guest total. Older than two (2) years and up DO count towards your guest total.

Directions To The Venue

Google Maps will bring you to us, but just in case here are some step by step driving directions.

 From Lexington, KY:

Take I-64 E towards Ashland

Exit right onto the Bert T Combs Mountain Parkway

Continue on the Mountain Parkway towards Campton

Take exit 40 and turn left

Turn right onto Hwy 715 (there’s a Marathon gas station on the corner)

Stay on Hwy 715 for 3 miles

Turn left onto 2016- They’ve recently done some road construction to put in a turning lane. 

Stay on 2016 for 3 miles

Turn left onto Booth Ridge Rd (Gravel Rd.)

Stay on Booth Ridge for approximately 1.5 miles

Hemlock Springs is the large black building on the left. There’s cafe lights and giant planters in front.

Just follow signs for parking once you arrive.
